- 22 lbs (7th percentile...woo hoo, highest yet!!)
- 29 Inches (25th percentile)
- Head was 90th percentile...Angela has always said...he's like a walking candied apple. :)
- His signs consist of...more, all done, eat, help, please.
- He also shakes his head yes and no and understands what those actions mean.
- He says MaMa, Dada, Flower, Frog and at 16 months...just started saying Bye Bye.
- Liam loves to dance and sing.
- He just started giving us kisses on his own accord, without us asking for them.
- He eats with utensils (sometimes).
- He goes up and down stairs without help. He's started trying to actually 'step' them instead of crawl them.
- He's running. :)
- He understand much of what we tell him or ask him. He can follow simple instructions like...'go get your ball, shoes, socks, whatever the item might be', 'go find your daddy, sydney, mama', 'lets pick up your toys', 'go pick out a book to read', etc...
- He tries to help get himself dressed. He's started trying to put his own shoes on.
- He brushes his teeth and combs his hair.
- He's obsessed with anything that has a lid on it...jars, tupperware, etc...
- He loves his Farm video.
- He will pick out the books he wants to read at night.
- He loves riding (getting pushed on) his trike.
- He loves his water table and splashing around.
- He's often caught picking mama's flowers. Mama's not loving this activity
- Just recently, he was put in the lakes (Spider and Wissota) and would stay in the water all day long.
- He plays with Sydney by grabbing her toys and trying to give them to her, throwing her ball, and petting her. It's adorable.
We are so enjoying our time with him right now. I think months 12 - 16 have been the most challenging but also some of the most fun. We love seeing the new things he understands and does. It seems like almost every day there's something new.
