Getting ready to leave for class...he looks excited here, right???
Not so much once we got in the pool. The first class was a little rough. Class starts at 5:45pm which is usually cat-nap time for Liam. So...throwing a sleepy kid in a pool that would rather be napping isn't necessarily the best way to spend a Monday evening. Let's just say...he didn't love the first class so much.
However, he's LOVED every class since then (thank god!). He likes to splash and kick and has even stopped crying/yelling at us when we dunk him. Yup, the instructor had us dunk them 3 times in the first class. I kind of thought that would be more like a 2nd or 3rd class activity but nope...nothing like diving right in (literally!).
